About the BUILD Initiative™
The BUILD Initiative™ — Building Up Individuals and Local Development — is the organizing framework for all of B2MC's programming. It provides a coherent structure for understanding how B2MC's different programs and pathways connect to a single, unified vision of community empowerment.
The six domains
The BUILD Initiative™ operates across six interconnected domains: Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, Health and Wellness, Creative Development, Community Leadership, and Academic Excellence. Each domain represents a critical dimension of community capacity — and together, they form a comprehensive framework for individual and community flourishing.
How programs fit within BUILD
Each of B2MC's programs maps to one or more BUILD domains. Digital Empowerment by Design™ addresses Digital Literacy. MindBuilders™ addresses Health and Wellness. ASEP addresses Academic Excellence, and all pathways touch Digital Literacy and Financial Literacy as cross-cutting themes.
Why a framework matters
The BUILD Initiative™ is not just an organizational chart — it is a theory of change. It articulates B2MC's belief that sustainable community transformation requires investment across multiple domains simultaneously, and that siloed interventions addressing one issue at a time are insufficient to produce lasting change.
