About B2MC
Building Minds Building Communities, Inc. (B2MC) is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit founded in 2023 and based at 102 Jefferson Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Our mission is to build community capacity by equipping underserved youth, families, adults, and seniors with the knowledge, skills, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive.
What we do
B2MC operates programs across education, digital literacy, workforce development, and community wellness. Our work is organized under the BUILD Initiative™ — a framework of six domains covering the full spectrum of community capacity: digital literacy, financial literacy, health and wellness, creative development, community leadership, and academic excellence.
Who we serve
B2MC serves children, teens, adults, and seniors in Bedford-Stuyvesant and surrounding neighborhoods. Our programs are designed to meet people where they are — regardless of prior education, income, or technology experience.
Our values
B2MC is built on the belief that every person in our community has the capacity to grow, contribute, and thrive — and that the role of a nonprofit is not to do things for communities but to build the conditions in which communities can do things for themselves.
