About ASEP
ASEP stands for Academic and Social Enrichment Pathway. It is B2MC's foundational youth development framework, delivered through two age-specific tracks: ASEP Jr. for children ages 5–11 and ASEP Youth for young people ages 12–18.
ASEP Jr. (Ages 5–11)
ASEP Jr. provides after-school enrichment that builds strong academic foundations alongside social-emotional skills. Programming includes reading and math support, STEM exploration, arts and creativity, and social-emotional learning.
ASEP Youth (Ages 12–18)
ASEP Youth prepares teenagers for life beyond high school through college readiness, career exploration, leadership development, digital literacy, and financial literacy programming.
Why ASEP matters
Children and teens in Bed-Stuy face significant barriers to academic achievement and economic mobility. ASEP provides the structured support, mentorship, and skill-building they need to overcome those barriers and build futures they are proud of.
