Sponsorship connects your organization to the families and neighbors B2MC serves in Bedford-Stuyvesant. There are three ways to begin.

Your support reaches every generation.

B2MC is a 501(c)(3) community capacity-building nonprofit based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn (EIN 92-2873759). We work with children, teenagers, adults, and seniors through pathways and portfolios organized under the BUILD Initiative™.

Our programs are free and open to eligible participants in Bed-Stuy. A sponsorship connects your organization directly to that work and to the neighbors it serves. You can see how we operate on our Transparency page.

Recognition

How recognition works.

We recognize sponsors in ways that fit the sponsorship, such as a listing on an event page or in a printed program. We only list your organization's name or logo if you say yes. If you would rather give quietly, that is welcome too. This recognition is an acknowledgment of your support, not advertising for your products or services.

Common Questions

Questions about sponsorship.

Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?
B2MC is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit (EIN 92-2873759), so a sponsorship may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. If you receive goods or services in return, such as event tickets or a meal, only the amount above their fair market value is deductible. Naming or showing your logo is an acknowledgment of your support, not advertising for your products or services. If you need a written receipt for your records, contact us. Please check with your tax advisor about your own situation, because B2MC cannot give tax advice.
How much does a sponsorship cost?
It depends on the level you choose, and you can also sponsor with any amount. Our year-round sponsorship levels are listed above, and each event lists its own levels on its event page. See the “Sponsor an event” section above for events open for sponsorship. Sponsorships may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law (see the tax question below), and gifts under our lowest level are welcome and thanked by email, but are not listed as sponsors.
Can my business give in kind?
Yes. You can donate goods, services, or prizes. Use the in-kind form on this page to tell us what you can offer, and we will find the right fit.
Will my name or logo be listed?
Only if you say yes. We recognize sponsors in ways that fit the sponsorship, such as a listing on an event page or in a printed program.
