Our Framework
A theory of change, not just a program list
The BUILD Initiative™ is the organizing framework for all of B2MC's work. It articulates our belief that lasting community transformation requires investment across multiple domains simultaneously — that siloed interventions addressing one issue at a time are insufficient to produce lasting change.
Each domain represents a critical dimension of community capacity. Together, they form a comprehensive framework for individual and community flourishing in Bed-Stuy and beyond.
